⚫️⚪️BSHCC Senior Semi Final Recap⚪️⚫️
What a mixed day for the club in the Senior Semi Finals.
2nd Grade – BSHCC 155 defeated Ex-Servos 51
After winning the toss and electing to bat, Captain David Crapp led from the front with a brilliant 53 (57) including 7 fours and a six. He was well supported by Jarrod Griffith 21 (21), while Daniel Watson 17 (32) added some valuable late runs to help set a competitive total.
With the ball, BSHCC struck early in the 3rd and 4th overs to put pressure straight back on Ex-Servos. After a small partnership started to build, Brad Page came into the attack and claimed 3/13 off 5 overs.
Just before drinks, Leo Fletcher was introduced into the attack — a move that proved decisive. Leo produced an outstanding spell to finish the match with incredible figures of 5/4 off 4 overs, wrapping up a dominant win for BSHCC.

3rd Grade – BSHCC 107 defeated by Bomaderry 7/108
Unfortunately things didn’t go 3rd Grade’s way. After winning the toss and batting first, runs were hard to come by throughout the innings. Captain Ethan Cain worked hard for 33 (52) and was well supported by Aaron Coutts-Smith 16 (22) as the side battled to post a total.
With the ball the team fought hard, with Michael Troy the standout performer taking 4/22 off 5 overs.

4th Grade – BSHCC 7/165 defeated by Ulladulla 5/169
After winning the toss and electing to bat, BSHCC didn’t get off to the best start with both openers falling early. However Callum Downes 36 (72) and Stephen Ball 42 (57) steadied the innings and helped guide the team to a competitive 165.
With the ball the boys fought hard and pushed the game right through to the second last over. John Fordham was the pick of the bowlers with 2/56 off 5 overs, well supported by Callum Downes, Howard Jackson, and Stephen Ball who each claimed a wicket.

2nd Grade now moves through to the Grand Final against Batemans Bay next Saturday, with the venue still to be confirmed.
Let’s get around the boys and show our support next weekend!
