The past week has been a very trying week, the Sanctuary has received so much rain which has caused significant flooding...

The past week has been a very trying week, the Sanctuary has received so much rain which has caused significant flooding to the area.
On Monday the rivers started coming up, by the evening all the rivers were impassable and breaking over their banks.
Roughly 20 houses went under water, people were walking through flooded croc water, stranded on the roofs of their home...
And we were busy saving rabbits.
All the rabbits are safe, dry and warm during this time, a lot of thumping from them, but they are all very glad it's all over.

All have been returned back to their homes with fresh bedding hay, and a few extra little treats.

We hope everyone in the community stays safe and dry.

This little boy, named Captain Carrot.
Had an infected testicle, possibly from blue poly tie.
The vet removed the infected testicles and desexed him, he is now on the mend and his remaining testicle has healed very nice.
This is just a reminder to check your rabbits regularly all over, CC was acting completely normal, still hoping and jumping around, showing no signs of being in pain.
