Young people in our country communities face homelessness for many reasons, but most have already lived through the trauma of domestic and family violence. With no affordable private rentals available to anyone on Youth Allowance, the pathway to stable housing remains especially uncertain across regional South Australia.

On Youth Homelessness Matters Day (Wednesday, April 15), we’re reminded that every young person deserves safety, support, and a real chance to build a secure future - so let’s raise our voices, back local services, and advocate for change that protects our youth ✊

Taryn will share practical insights on how to support young people to thrive, build body confidence, and develop the resilience and self-belief they need to navigate today’s world, along with information on the free resources readily available to support families.

The session will run for approx. 45 minutes, followed by a Q&A.
