to sustain the environment that we live in. Membership is free, and you can be as involved as you like.

Berri Barmera Landcare is the Riverland Region's leading community based environmental organisation. Our projects bring together community members to participate in a multitude of community activities with a common purpose of "Saving The Planet". We were first established in 1997 (as Berri Barmera Local Action Planning) and have since attracted in excess of $7 million in funding to implement on ground projects. We are actively involved in the development and implementation of programs and strategies in the following key areas:
• Wetlands and Floodplains
• Land and Water Management
• Revegetation and vegetation management
• Community education and awareness
• Water Quality and Native Fish Recovery
