Gallard's was established in 2002. With John's knowledge of the industry, customers could soon see the benefits of having the latest equipment available to them, so as the demand inc

reased Gallard Services expanded from their original 2 machines purchasing a variety of machinery which enabled them to cater for all the current pruning and development practices. With the ever advancing global technology, Gallard Services saw the need to travel the world enabling them to keep abreast of these improvements and to allow them to meet the demands of not only the small local grower but the corporate syndicates and whether it is 5 or 500 hectares their maintenance needs on their property were the same. Gallard Services specialises in maintaining and upgrading all OHS procedures and practices and complies with all the legislations applied to their industry in all states.

MEET MARK DEIONNO

Born and raised in Karoonda out in the Mallee, Mark’s career in machinery was on his radar from a young age. Growing up on a farm and around equipment he developed a passion early on, moving straight from school into a diesel mechanic apprenticeship and spending 11 years at his dealership.

After working frequently with Sam from 2018, Mark made the move to Gallard Group, drawn to the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally while stepping into the autonomy side of the industry.

What excites him most? How fast robotics and autonomy are advancing. With labour shortages across ag, he sees autonomy uptake accelerating rapidly over the next few years. Having the ability to precisely adapt technology to each property’s unique needs and overcome their challenges for more sustainable and efficient growing is what it's all about.

Mark believes what sets Gallard Group apart in the ag-tech space is our ability to trial, tune and develop technology within our own farming and contracting operations before sharing it with growers. Our time in the industry gives us a deep understanding of what is truly required in-field.

Mark’s favourite piece of tech right now? The Bonsai-powered AR-500 - loud and versatile. The option to run it conventionally with an operator or autonomously (driver-less) is game-changing.

Outside of work, you’ll find Mark spending time with his son Nate or playing footy out in the Mallee.
Please join us in welcoming Mark to the Gallard team, we’re excited to have him with us!

MEET DE

De joined the Gallard Group four years ago, jokingly calling her start date “D-Day” and has since become a key part of keeping the business moving behind the scenes!

De is often the first friendly point of contact for parts and service enquiries - taking calls, booking machines, coordinating with the workshop team, managing logistics and tracking jobs while working closely with the Brody & Craig to keep everything running smoothly.

Before joining Gallards, De worked connecting corporate agricultural businesses with workforce solutions, grounding her firmly in the realities and challenges of the industry.

De thrives in the diverse, hands-on environment of a busy workshop operation. She also loves the every changing range of machinery, the team environment and having a front row seat to whats new in Australian Ag. She values the uniqueness and strong family foundation of Gallard Group, taking pride in upholding the Gallard name in everything we do.

Outside of work, De is a proud mum of two - her daughter is close to home, while her son is currently training at ADFA in Canberra to become an officer in the Defence Force. De is the first female president of the Berri Football Club (now in her second year), after managing the B-grade team for eight seasons! In her spare time? We'll come back with that..

Thank you De 😄
