Today’s Brothers Supporting Brothers - Men’s Group came together for a BBQ feed, yarn & catch up to discuss July’s Calendar of Events 🗓️

The Men cooking up a lovely feed of beef & black bean stir fry with rice or noodles 🍜 and quickly finding a new ‘chef/cook’ in Men’s Group participant Tre.

We also put up Riverland ADAC marquee which we will be using it for Community events and for upcoming NAIDOC Week activities.

🎣 Next week we try our luck and are off fishing 🎣

Open invitation to an Aboriginal Community Housing Forum for the Riverland region at Berri Hotel, in the Riverview Lounge, on Friday 26th June (11am-3:00pm) with a luncheon provided.

The Aboriginal community housing forum is a facilitated discussion a housing forum and hearing community voices on the direction of Aboriginal community housing in SA.

Please spread the word, and kindly share across your email networks to invite others, such as Aboriginal community members and workers.

👏🏾 A huge thank you & shoutout to our partnering organisations both Non Aboriginal & Aboriginal for coming together and making this significant event for ALL Community to be involved in.

🙌🏾 Thanks to the staff & Yr. 11 students Ella & Kendall of St. Francis of Assisi College, Renmark for coming along and contributing on how the can contribute to towards the Reconciliation process not only in St. Francis of Assisi College but in the broader community.

The main message shared from all speakers in the day is for Reconciliation to work it needs to happen on the other 51 weeks of the year !!
