Jowett Car Club of Australia Formed in 1957 and enjoys continuous activity that brings together persons interested in Jowett vehicles at events throughout Australia

The club has a helpful library of technical books and service bulletins for member's use together with on-line technical support via the international Jowett web site located at www.jowett.org. Club representatives are located in each State who arrange regular local events together with a bi-annual National rally. The JCCA was well represented at the 67th annual Kalorama Rally. This rally is run by the Vintage Drivers Club and raises money for the CFA. We had an example of each of Jowett's post-war models on display in perfect weather. In addition to the 3 Jowetts, there were 8 current JCCA members present, and 2 more ex-members - that's a pretty good turnout for such a small club in Victoria.

Today we farewelled a great Jowetteer. Our ex-President, Brian Holmes passed away in his sleep on the 28th of January. He was a rare combination of a skilled tradesman who could and did turn his hand to anything. His sad loss will be felt by all Club members that knew him. His input into the club was immense, both in leadership and running the spares parts section. Added to this he reconditioned members engines, gearboxes, and any other items that need work. His knowledge of our cars was extensive, and he was always willing to share it. He was a good bloke and a Gentleman. The world, especially the Jowett world will be a poorer place without Brian.
