More volunteer Leaders needed! At 1st Berowra Scouts, we currently room for more kids in all sections - we just need more Leaders so we can move more kids from the waitlists!

To get more local kids into the adventure, we’re offering a direct fast-track: volunteering as a Leader will move your child from the waitlist straight into their age group section.

🌟Full training provided.
🌟Share amazing experiences with your kids – and move up through the sections as they do.
🌟Only a couple of hours of your time each week during school terms.
🌟Great local parent community.

The sun was shining and our Scouts, Vennies, Leaders and helpers were kept busy washing cars at Motorserve Hornsby last Saturday. Thanks to everyone who helped or who brought their car in for a wash! We raised around $700 to support affordable activities for our young members.

Q: Does your car need a wash? A: YES! It does! And our 1st Berowra Scouts and Venturers are only too happy to help you out this coming Saturday 30 May. With their amazing support, we will be hosting a fundraising car wash and BBQ at Motorserve Hornsby between 10am and 2pm.

Where is Motorserve Hornsby? Enter via Hornsby Street, Hornsby - which is opposite Barker College. A clean car ☑️ lunch sorted ☑️ and supporting your local Scouts ☑️ - that's a productive Saturday right there!

As you can see, ScoutHike 2026 was kind of big! Our Berowra Scouts are in there somewhere...🤣 Huge thanks again to the organisers and all the volunteers who made it such a wonderful event for all our young people. 😊

We are proud as punch of the Scout section leaders and helpers from 1st Berowra Scout Group and 1st Asquith Scout - their Pac-man activity base was voted the best by the hundreds of Scouts that took part in ScoutHike 2026 this past weekend! Our volunteer leaders put in a huge effort planning the activity base in the lead-up to the event and of course worked hard all weekend to keep the energy and fun levels high, while also looking after the Scouts in their charge. Thank you for all you do!

And thanks to Scouts Sydney North Region for another brilliant ScoutHike! The countdown is now on til next year's event!

Very proud of our Venturers carrying the flags and leading the Berowra ANZAC Day march - and of all our Scouting youth members, leaders and families who joined us today to honour our veterans and all those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Lest we forget.

Many thanks to Berowra RSL Sub-Branch for organising another beautiful morning service and to our members who assisted with set up and packing up.
