Hi to all my Kiwi friends. We have Kumaras and Kumara plants for sale at the Garden on Saturday 9-12pm. We also have some choko for sale if anyone wants it.

Our members had a really enjoyable day last Sunday at the City of Canning free tree giveaway stall they organised. Many thanks to them for once again inviting us and helping us out on the day. Thanks also to the many people who dropped by to say hello and purchase some of our garden plants.

Our last bush tucker garden put in place by Tim was demolished due to the development happening next door. We currently have a few bush tucker plants out on the front verge and are extending this area with the help of a grant from the City of Canning. It will also help us to keep the weeds in control a little better with the help of the mulch we have laid as part of this project. We aim to put the plants in when we get some rain to help them grow. 🌳

Our Community Garden sign is finally in place. This has been a real joint effort. It started back in February 2022 when Tim organised for the sign to be made. Then a few months ago Wendy organised for the frame to be made for it. Now finally Clarrie and I have placed it outside The Hub on the verge beside Manning Road.
