I haven't posted in a long time. This post is inspired by the gorgeous Richard Scarry book which was donated recently. A personal favourite when I was a child.

Temporarily closed 😱. No donations please!

Unfortunately, the damage is greater than expected.
We need to:
- Dig a new post hole to replace the broken post.
- Set this in cement, which takes days to dry
- Replace the rotten Cabinet base and backplate

And finally, put this all back together.

Please keep an eye on our page, we will post updates as things progress.

Thank you all for your wonderful support, we look forward to the next reopening of the Cabinet of Kindness

Now that we've moved the Cabinet off its supports, we have the bigger picture. One of the posts had broken, and the base has water damage.
We will do our best to have it back up today but we may need to close while repairs are completed.

If anyone has a suitable replacement Cabinet for long-term use, please message me.

Our Cabinet is as popular as ever, only the weather is wearing it down a bit. Please message me if you have some spare varnish. The wood won't last without some care. 🙏🙏🙏
