Bailey Reserve Scout Group

We are a Scout Group for all genders aged 5 - 25 years old in Bentleigh East, Victoria.

Scouting is a worldwide movement that has shaped the development of youth and adults for 100 years. Scouts are in every part of our community, and Scouts is the biggest and most successful youth organisation in Australia. More than 20,000 boys, girls, and adults in Victoria from wide cultural or religious background including those with an intellectual or physical disability enjoy an unlimited ran

ge of activities. The aim of Scouting is to encourage the physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual development of young people so they may play a constructive role in society as responsible citizens and as members of their local and international communities. This aim is achieved through a strong and active program that inspires young people to do their best and to always be prepared.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mums in our community!

To celebrate mums, this week our Joeys and Cubs had special nights with mums joining in all the games and activities. The youth then made their mum a cuppa (with leader supervision!) and presented them with gifts they'd made for them 🎁🌷

We hope all the mums had a wonderful Mother's Day today and were applied by their kids - they deserve it!

Joeys, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers from Bailey Reserve joined with other local Scouts Victoria groups to take part in our local Anzac Day service today at Bentleigh RSL, to commemorate the service and sacrifice of our Defence Force personnel past and present.
We especially honour those who have made the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of our nation.

Our Cub Scouts were back this week to start 2026 putting their Scoutcraft skills to the test to build shelters for protection from the elements. And of course we had to test the effectiveness of the shelters at the end! (See the comments for a video of the test 😉)

🚨🌲 BAILEY RESERVE SCOUTS "AVOIDING A FIRE SALE" - ALL TREES MUST GO!!🌲🚨

Unfortunately we still have a large number of trees left after our two weekend sales.
However if you still don't have a Christmas tree, this is good news for you!

We will be opening up again tomorrow night (Monday 15/12) from 5:30pm to 8pm, and selling all trees for $60, regardless of size! That's an absolute steal!!!

So come and see us tomorrow night at 178 East Boundary Rd Bentleigh East and pick up a beautiful real Christmas tree for your home, and support your local Scout group in the process ⚜️

🌲🌲LATE SUNDAY SPECIAL - ALL TREES $75 FROM 2PM TO 4PM!!🌲🌲

The weather is fine, and so are the Christmas trees! But we want them all to have homes to go to today, so for the last 2 hours of our day all our trees are reduced to $75 - bargain!!

We have lots of freshly cut Christmas trees for you to choose from, ranging from 5ft to over 7ft.
Selling from our hall at 178 East Boundary Rd, Bentleigh East from 8am-4pm Saturday and Sunday or until sold out.
Cash or card accepted (small surcharge for card payments applies).
