Not every young person opens up through words. Sometimes, they open up through play. 🏉🥅

At Allcare Community Support, our support workers use play-informed engagement to connect with young participants in a way that feels natural and safe.

This might look like:

• kicking a footy at the park
• playing games together
• drawing, building, or creating
• simply sharing small moments without pressure

Through these everyday activities, young people can:

✔ feel more relaxed and less overwhelmed
✔ build confidence at their own pace
✔ develop trust and connection
✔ express themselves in ways that feel comfortable

Over time, these small moments can lead to big changes in mood, confidence, and engagement with the world around them 🌱

If you have a young person who might benefit from this kind of support, feel free to send us a message (PM) to learn more.

When School Rejection Starts Affecting Confidence.

Sometimes it starts small.

✔️Name calling.
✔️Teasing at school.
✔️Being left out.

Over time, some young people begin to believe something painful.

“Everyone hates me.”

✔️They withdraw.
✔️Avoid activities.
✔️Confidence drops.

Experiences like bullying or rejection can deeply affect a young person’s emotional wellbeing.

At Allcare, our trained support workers work with NDIS participants using safe, supportive approaches to help young people rebuild confidence, develop emotional regulation skills, and feel supported again.

Sometimes having someone in their corner can make a real difference.

Sometimes parents tell us this.

“My child spends most of the time gaming now.”

Sport stopped, motivation dropped and school work slipping.

Well, It can look like laziness or addiction.

But often the real issue is “balance.”

Gaming gives young people fun, connection, and a sense of achievement.
But when it slowly replaces school, sport, and real-life activities, problems start to appear.

What helps isn’t constant arguing or taking everything away.

✨Young people need support to rebuild balance, motivation, and routine.

At Allcare, our trained support workers work with NDIS participants to build practical skills like emotional regulation, social confidence, and healthy routines in everyday life.

If your child is struggling with gaming, motivation, or daily structure, reach out to see if Allcare communit support could help your family.
