What a pleasure it was to welcome the ladies from Phoenix Chewton CWA.

They arrived with a beautiful donation of much-needed goods, but what touched us just as much was the time they took to tour our site, listen, learn and ask thoughtful questions about the work we do.

Their genuine interest and generosity mean so much to us. It is through the support of wonderful community groups like yours that we can continue doing what we do.

Please help if you can…

We currently have waiting lists for newborn car seats and capsules, and we need your help to provide safe travel for babies in our community.

If you have a newborn car seat or capsule that was manufactured in 2018 or newer and you no longer need it, we would be incredibly grateful for your donation.

Every donation can make a real difference to a family waiting for a safe way to transport their precious little one.

We would love your help!

Do you have an old or unused phone or charger sitting forgotten in the back of a drawer or cupboard?

Now is the perfect time to put it to good use!

We have been given the wonderful opportunity to become a collection point for unused devices. Donated phones are refurbished and put to use supporting people fleeing domestic violence, as well as other important community initiatives.

And there’s even more good news — the funds raised from these donated devices come back to us, helping us continue the work we do in our community.

So it really is a win-win:
✨ Clear out those unwanted phones
✨ Give them a new lease on life
✨ Help support people in need
✨ Help us continue making a difference locally

One old phone can make a real difference.

With National Book Week at the forefront of so many children’s minds this week, our wonderful volunteer team has been putting lots of love and effort into theming our packs!

For some families, a book paired with a matching clothing item may be all they have to create a special Book Week experience, so we wanted to make these packs extra special.

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers for helping bring a little extra magic to Book Week for the children and families we support!

A huge thank you to Tommee Tippee Australia for the incredibly generous donation of a pallet of breast pads!

These essential items are already being packed into our nappy bags for new mums, helping ensure families in our community have access to the things they need during those precious early days.

Donations like this make such a meaningful difference and have a huge impact on our community.

A special thank you to our wonderful neighbours, National Tiles & Carpet Call Bendigo , for stepping in with a forklift to help us unload the pallet. What a team effort!

Last week, we had the privilege of assisting Julia from one of our wonderful referring partners, Bendigo Community Health , who was supporting a large family currently living rough.

Through no fault of their own, this family found themselves facing the harshness of winter with minimal heating. We were able to pack up blankets, warm clothing, toiletries, and a few “special items” for Julia to collect and deliver to the family.

We hope these essentials bring a little warmth, comfort and dignity to this family and remind them that our community cares about those going through a rough patch.

Thank you to everyone who helps make moments like this possible.
