Thank you to everyone who attended the Bendigo Art Show Preview Evening at the Town Hall last night.

It was a fabulous evening, so much quality art on display and the deserving winners were announced.

Thanks to our Judge, Richard Stork, resident artist, Robyn Clarke, and Terry Ian Jarvis for the raffle first prize painting. Raffle tickets available at the show for $5. All proceeds from the show will go to the Harcourt community following the devastating bush fires.

A visit to the show over the Easter weekend is a must. $10 entry, children free.

At this year’s Bendigo Rotary Easter Art Show, we are thrilled to welcome Robyn Clarke as our resident artist.

Drawing has been a lifelong passion for Robyn, inspired by family holidays and originally serving as a way to alleviate childhood boredom.

As an adult, the act of drawing has become an integral part of maintaining Robyn’s health and wellbeing. The thrill of being able to say, “I drew that,” continues to motivate her, along with the belief that each new piece will improve upon the last.

With training in horticulture and animal technology, Robyn has brought her interests together to study the connections and natural relationships within the environment. Living on twenty acres in the Greater Bendigo Region allows her to explore these connections through various mediums, including coloured pencils, graphite, woodburning, and paint.

Robyn’s work reflects an immersion in the delicate balance in which all parts of nature interact, capturing the essence and wonder of the natural world.

Join us at the Bendigo Rotary Easter Art Show PREVIEW EVENING on Thursday 2 April, or visit the Bendigo Rotary Easter Art Show - Exhibition and Sales over Easter and say hello to Robyn, learn about her techniques as she paints live, and view her beautiful work.
