UPDATE: The NCVSSA Committee has decided to host a single teams event on Sunday due to time limitations. This competition will be open to all competitors, with each team comprising two shearers and two wool handlers, limited to one open shearer and one open wool handler per team. The event is held in memory of the late Adam Webb.

The NCVSSA at the Northern Shears comp on Saturday had a Women's Shearing Demonstration Fundraiser to raise much needed funds for the Bendigo Heatlh's Cancer Wellness Program. Five women shearers demonstrated their skills while volunteers rattled tins. The women wore singlets and shirts kindly donated by Willpower Shearing Supplies and the public were invited to purchase a singlet to help raise funds. We have a few singlets left over and if you would like to purchase one for $50 plus postage please PM me.

On behalf of the North Central Victorian Sports Shear Association committee, I would like to thank everybody for their support over the weekend. Special thanks to the sponsors, competitors, judges, volunteers and supporters for making the weekend another huge success. Congratulations to all the finalists. Hope to see everybody back again next year
