This year's National Reconciliation Week theme, ‘All In’, calls on all Australians to take meaningful, everyday action towards reconciliation.

At FRRR we believe that reconciliation is a shared responsibility, one that requires ongoing commitment, learning, and genuine collaboration. We walk alongside First Nations communities across the country, backing their leadership and investing where we can make the biggest difference. We will continue listening, showing up consistently and supporting what communities know works best.

In South Australia, on Peramangk Country in Brukunga, a once fire-affected site has been transformed into a thriving, fire-resilient community garden, a place for learning, connection and healing.

Led by local volunteers and supported by the Suncorp Rebuilding Futures program, this project is helping communities prepare for the future while honouring their recovery journey.

From hands-on workshops to a welcoming shared space, the garden is a living reminder of what community spirit can achieve.

Rural and remote communities are strong, caring, and innovative.

But right now, rising costs, limited services, and the ongoing impact of disasters are putting them under significant pressure.

At FRRR, we’re inspired every day by the people who step up and support our rural and remote communities. This EOFY, help us to make sure local organisations have what they need to keep communities moving forward.

Donate before June 30 to back rural communities where it matters most.
