Our friendly T-Rex will pop in for a visit at the end of the workshop, with a little something for our future archaeologists to take home and continue learning about the world of dinosaurs!

It is choc-a-block with events in these school holidays, so we thought why not add one last event at the tail end of the !

Come along on Saturday 23rd of April to a morning or afternoon session - Sensory Science Dino Day. There will be clay model making, sensory foam tubs and trays, messy free painting, rainbow chickpeas, dino digs and dinosaur slime.

Set your alarms, grab your telescopes...it's all happening at 5:30AM tomorrow morning!

🪐 Planet alert! Look to the skies early tomorrow morning and you’ll see Saturn and Mars sitting side by side.

They’ll be close together and about the same brightness so it might look like you’re seeing double!

Bright Venus will be below and if you have a good view of the horizon you should catch Jupiter too.

Whether you have coded before or you are just starting out, we have a range of using block-based coding and the famous on our very own computers! Code your Micro:bit to display an animation or code a game like rock, paper, scissors and play with other participants.

Codeology explores the world of technology with a focus on coding.

This program is for all abilities and age groups (5-15 years). Learn about the smallest of viruses and bacteria that share your world!

Participants will learn about what viruses and bacteria are, be shown a demonstration of how we can repel them and keep ourselves safe by using hand sanitiser to blast away those nasty little critters. Each participant will take home their very own handmade bottle of hand sanitiser to promote hand hygiene!

Microbes and I explores the wonders of the biology of the world we live in.
