A week has passed since Lions Walk 2025 took to the cliffs from Bells Beach to Aireys, and the emotions are still so raw.

As The Lion Man’s family, we cannot thank each and every one of you enough for the truly mind-blowing support. As a beautiful friend said to me, ‘Not just on the day — Always’.

Leo has a long road ahead, but we feel unbelievably lucky to have such a strong and loving community walking beside us.

For now, Lions Walk will take a break to refresh and refuel as we gear up for Lions Walk 2026. 🦁

You understand the walk takes place along public tracks and paths which may include uneven surfaces, weather changes, and other natural hazards.

If you have any doubts about the walk, please meet us at Aireys Pub for a meal, a drink and some fun instead, we’d still love to see you there! 💛

No further need to register, just turn up!

For those taking on the full 30km walk, we’ll meet at Bells Beach (down near the toilet block) from 8:30am, ready for a 9:00am start.
From there, we’ll follow the Surf Coast Track toward Anglesea, making our way through the stunning Ironbark Basin (There is a toilet block at the top of Pt Addis).
We’ll meet the 13km walkers at the Anglesea Beach Playground at around 11:30am. This will be the perfect time to take a short break — refuel, use the toilets, and top up your water before heading off again.
From Anglesea, we’ll continue along the Surf Coast Walking Track toward Aireys Inlet.
We’ve added a couple of extra entry points for anyone who’d like to join for the final few kilometres
5.6km Urquharts Bluff Car Park approx 1pm
2.6km Sunnymead Beach Car Park - approx 1:30pm
We’ll then make our way up to the Lighthouse, loop around, and meet the final group of walkers approx
1:45pm
The last stretch takes us down toward the finishing line at the Aireys Pub:
Head down Federal St, left onto Lighthouse Rd, right into Eagle Point, then left into Phillip St — all the way to , where a cold drink will be waiting to celebrate your amazing effort!
(NB: Times are approximate, except for the start)

Do not hesitate to reach out if any questions 😊
