🌱🌼Blessed Spring Equinox! 🌸🌿

you are the blossom
of your spring
the elusive flaming firebird
of your egg
the rise of your fall.
Spring renewal is your dawn

celebration. tis the season
to crack the stories.
release them to wind and sky.
may they soar
from the pieces to the whole

feathers
trailing the whispers
of your destiny.
purify the cobwebs
from their voices.
see them with new eyes of wonder.

you are made
because of your stories.
your stories are made
because of you.
blessed be to the holy words
that give your life meaning.
blessed be to the breath
between the words.
blessed be to the space
between the stories.
all of it. the goop
the muck the beauty and the bright.
all of it is you
becoming through you.

pilgrim. traveler.
you are here now.
in your story.
in someone else's story.
colliding and drifting
and piecing and finding.
lift yourself up
and put yourself back together.

the stories are not meant to weigh you.

you are meant to be lost and found.
you are meant to lose what you know.
you are meant to be messy.
you are meant to break.
you are meant to be imperfect

to remember.

the threads and embroidery

newly green
