Bellingen Show is with Michael Kemp MP and Lions Club of Bellingen.

70 years of showing up for Bellingen. 💛
We are so proud to share that the Lions Club of Bellingen has received the 2026 NSW Parliament Seniors Local Achievement Award, presented by Michael Kemp MP, Member for Oxley, and received by President Peter Kemp and Lion Debbie Sense on 1 April 2026. 🏆🦁
This recognition celebrates more than 70 years of dedicated service to the Bellingen community, and the club's outstanding fundraising efforts for the Bellinger River District Hospital – raising more than $123,000 for vital medical equipment since October 2024, while continuing to support local events and initiatives across the region.
Congratulations to every Lion – past and present – who has made this possible.
You'll find them at the Bellingen Show on May 9–10, serving up hot chips and coffee at the kiosk – because that's just what they do. Come say congratulations in person! ☕🍟
And if you want more information about joining this wonderful organisation, just ask Peter or Jo at the kiosk. They would love to meet you!

12/4/2026, Lions Club of Bellingen hosted a fabulous Senior Citizen’s Luncheon celebrating the dedication the volunteers have served across the many organizations in our community. Guests came from across the Shire. Bellingen, Mylestom, Urunga, Gleniffer and Darkwood.
A delicious lunch was had by all.
Everybody had a great time, enjoyed the company of others, and communication to share the meal with.
Nostalgic Sing-a-along music was provided by Eddie & His Band which brought glee to the faces of all as they joined in.
Another community event proudly presented by Lions Club of Bellingen.

Sgt Matthew Locke MG Rugby Charity Match was a great success at Bellingen Park, 28/3/2026. Juniors commenced the first kick-off at 8.45am.
It was a wonderful tribute to Sgt Locke’s legacy, bringing visitors from all over the Mid-North Coast to support a great cause while enjoying some top-level rugby league all day.

Lions Club of Bellingen cooked up a storm with Egg & Bacon rolls, Sausage sizzle & Steak sandwiches, including their new addition with Pluto’s- which sold like hotcakes, non-stop all day! We’ll definitely keep Pluto (Pups) on our menu in the future.

All profits from sales is donated directly to the Grub Club, supported by Lions Club of Bellingen, that’s us! - going towards educational resources and schools for disadvantaged children in Timor-Leste.

Results:
* Army Thunder def Sawtell Panthers 30-17
• Brisbane Veterans Jackals def Bellingen Valley/Dorrigo Magpies 32–4.
