The third day of the Toowoomba YLTW congress culminated with an outstanding community forum presented to school leaders and members of the local community. Plans for community and school gardens, and river research groups are being created and will be coming our way soon. Looking forward to working with these amazing young people to create the future they want to see. Well done to all involved and a special thank you to Aunty Kali for you knowledge, wisdom and support!

Our Vision
This is us now. Not a distant future, but an attainable path.

One planet, one people, one world.
A community filled with joy, wisdom and tranquillity, is not simply imagination, it is our initiative for a better place for all.

Wisdom passed down from the elders about Country have created a community that is ready to help protect our environment through sustainable practices. Such as, working with the very custodians of the land to maintain our air and waterways; choosing to use our resources sagely; sharing what we have with our neighbours.

With that, a domino effect of collective gratitude starts. We move with intention. We share the joy. We imbue true tranquillity.

However, we are not alone in this effort - our connection shakes hands with every culture, everybody and every mind. Every nation having value to add in a more accessible and sustainable world, no matter the background.

Because there is no backup, no spare planet. This is our only home, and home is where we all belong.

Reframed to Visions
1. We live in a society where everyone is happy amd content. We focus on people's well-being as a top priority.
2. Systems are in place to ensure habitat is no longer destroyed. Considerable effort is put into reforestation and and functional habitats.
3. There is a high representation of young people in all levels of government and youth voices are genuinely listened to by all Australians.
4. Biodiversity is protected and actively restored.
5. People use 100% renewable energy sources. All plastics used have the ability to be recycled.

We are having such a great start to the Toowoomba 2026 YLTW congress. We had an amazing Welcome and Smoking ceremony from Geneene Meijer. And on average the genuine and caring participants and facilitators currently live like we have 3.1 planets!
