Thank you to for joining us at ARCHITECTURAL INTELLIGENCE: Redefining AI in Meanjin / Brisbane, and for their ongoing support as a Technical Member of RAA. It was wonderful to have Marcio Da Silva and Daniel Page at the event.

During the day, they introduced delegates to No.1 DesignHub - new way to upload plans or project photos and visually experiment with different roofing, walling, and guttering combinations to see ideas come to life before building.

It was fantastic to have Gabriel Tieppo and Meg Shaw with us at the Powerhouse, sharing their technical expertise with our delegates. Thanks to Allegion for supporting RAA as a Technical Member too.

Early bird tickets are now available to our Cobar experience in outback NSW, on Ngiyampaa Wangaaypuwan Country.

REFLECTIONS: A Regional Architecture Association Journey will run 17-19 September.

This final RAA event for 2026 will be a stock-taking of sorts, a recognition that technical influences and experience inform only a small part of the placemaking and design work we do. Country, social, political and cultural demographics, unique to each region, underpins and impacts our personal and professional development also.

Early bird tickets and info via the link in bio, book now.

Congrats to architect Sara Pearson ()
whose Goonellabah Houses – a fresh take on dual occupancy in a regional setting – won a recent award for brilliantly doubling the density of an established site without compromising privacy or amenity.

The project was discussed in the three-part housing feature in Issue #1 of Field ~ Architecture Gone Regional, as part of John de Manincor’s () report (Aquarius Rising) on collective housing in the Northern Rivers.

Field shines a light on the essential and exceptional work of architects in regional Australia.
