S.S. Koopa Trail parkrun

This week 124 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 31 were first timers and 14 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 10 different clubs took part.

S.S. Koopa Trail parkrun started on 16th January 2021. Since then 7,098 participants have completed 26,755 parkruns covering a total distance of 133,775 km, including 3,574 new Personal Bests. A total of 466 individuals have volunteered 3,524 times.

Did you know the ratio of volunteer roles : parkrun participation is around 10%?
e.g. if you do 40 parkruns per year = you could put your hand up to do just 4 volunteer roles per year. You are welcome to do way more and quite a few of us do, but sharing it amongst more people makes parkrun life much easier!

Today we celebrated 22 years of parkrun with some fabulous Tutu's on display! We were lucky to have beautiful conditions on Bribie as 149 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 34 were first timers and 21 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 16 different clubs took part.

Huge congratulations to Fiona on completing her 500th parkrun & Callum for completing his 200th!
Special congrats also to Bernadette for volunteering for the 50th time today, all wonderful achievements!
