Today is the day our community get together to wish Bede all the best for his new posting and on behalf of the Bell Progress & Heritage Association we thank him for everything he has done for our community. Come along and enjoy a sausage sizzle under our new shade area at Ensor Park thanks to Western Downs Regional Council.

🚂 Bell Railway Heritage Park Update 🚂

🛤 We're excited to share that the mural on the Bell Heritage Railway Park shed is getting a much needed refresh.

Over the coming weeks (weather permitting) artist Graeme McCullough will be working on the mural, bringing his unique artistic style to the shed to celebrate Bell's rail heritage and rural identity. We're looking forward to seeing his masterpiece.

🌧 We have also taken on board the suggestion of rainwater tanks on the shed. We will add this to our next meeting agenda for discussion.

🌳 ENSOR PARK UPDATE 🌳

Western Downs Regional Council has provided the Bell Progress & Heritage Association with an update about WDRC's Ensor Park Project to share with the community .

The next phase of their Project will include:
☑ New 6m x 8m shade structure
☑ New footpath between the shelter and toilets
☑ 2 picnic tables (one with disability access) and BBQ will be under the shade structure
☑ No trees will be removed
☑ Red Soil Constructions has been appointed to do the work
☑ Work will start early next year
☑ Landscaping plans will be finalised after construction
