It’s Early Childhood Educators’ Day. Let’s celebrate the amazing people who help our children learn, play and grow! 🎉❤️

A huge shout-out to our wonderful CRCS educators across our early childhood centres and OSHC services, and to educators everywhere.

Every day, they create safe, fun and engaging places where children can learn, play and belong. They build trusted relationships with children, work closely with families and support each child’s wellbeing and development.

The early years help shape a child’s future, making the work of educators incredibly important.

When you pick up your child from early childhood care or OSHC today, please take a moment to thank their educators and show them some love! 🌟

Looking for more than just childcare? 💛

We have openings for 0-5 year olds at Ginninderra Early Childhood Centre (GECC) - quality early education and care in the heart of Belconnen! 🌟

Part of Capital Region Community Services, our small, welcoming centre focuses on strong relationships, community connection and, of course, every child’s safety and wellbeing.

Many of our educators have been with the centre for years, creating a familiar and caring environment where every child is known. Through play-based learning, children have fun, explore their interests and build skills and confidence, making GECC a place they love coming to each day.

Children also enjoy beautiful learning spaces and weekly excursions within Belconnen Community Centre, including Tiny Tumblers, and visits to the Belconnen Library.

Yesterday, children, families and our wonderfully dressed-up Educators at Bruce Ridge Early Childhood Centre (BRECC) came together to celebrate.

While the costumes are always fun (and watching a dress ups parade of babies through to five-year-olds is truly something special) Book Week is about so much more than dressing up. It’s about sharing stories, sparking imaginations and helping children discover the joy of books and learning, with or without a costume.

Thank you to everyone who embraced the spirit of Book Week and joined the fun, including the parents and family members who celebrated with us. 📚✨

And if you’re part of the BRECC community, don’t forget to vote for your favourite door in the door-decorating competition by Friday! It’s a tough decision. They’re all amazing. 📚✨

CRCS Family Foundations offers free, practical support to help parents and carers build confidence, strengthen family relationships and find a positive way forward.

Our Child and Family Practitioners can support you with parenting, behaviour, routines, sleep, child development and stress at home. One parent described the difference this support made for their family:
