While the monthly BBQ is happening at the beerwah Co Op we have a crew at the mooloolah valley emergency services expo. We have QPS,RFSQ,FRSQ,MRQ,QAS and of course QSES.

Our monthly sausage sizzle is on again this Saturday 5th September from 8am till 2pm at the Beerwah Co-op.

Do come along and say g'day and enjoy a saussage and a softdrink. Your support enables us to purchase much needed equipment for our volunteers to help the community in times of need.

Also a big thank you to our local Woolworths and Banjo's Bakery for their support.

We were recently advised of a possible scam, please beware. A person received a message on their phone showing a picture of SES volunteers in action and asking for a $1000 donation.
The SES does not send messages to the public asking for a cash donation.

Our monthly sausage sizzle is on this Saturday 1st August at the Beerwah Co-op. Drop in and say gidday to the friendly SES volunteers and enjoy a sausage, drink and a chat. We appreciate the support we get from local businesses and the public.
This month's sausage sizzle is supported by our local Woolworths supermarket, Banjo's Bakery and the Beerwah Co-Op.

Thursday night training. Working Safely at Heights competency maintenance for our roof operators. Included practicing tying relevant knots (Alpine Butterfly, Figure 8 on the byte, tape knots) setting up a static line, correct use of a ladder.

AusAlert is Australia’s new emergency messaging system. It helps people stay informed and prepared during local and national disasters. 📱

In June, the system was successfully tested across 9 communities nationwide. An AusAlert national test alert will be sent to compatible mobile devices across Australia on Monday 27 July 2026, at around 2:00 pm AEST.

The test will help confirm AusAlert is operating as expected ahead of its launch in October 2026.

The Glasshouse Mountains SES Support Group are holding their monthly Sausage Sizzle again this Saturday 6th June at the Beerwah Co-op from 8am till 2pm.

Come along and say hi to the volunteers in orange and grab a sausage or two and a drink. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday.

The Glasshouse Mountains SES Group recently congratulated our group leader Dan Wallison for again stepping up and accepting the position to continue his valued guidance and supporting the team. Congratulations Dan.
Also the Group extended thanks to Dirk van Diem for supporting and provding training to the team as Deputy Group Leader as he steped down due to other commitments. Congratulations to Anthony Comer for stepping into the Deputy GL position and we look forward to your guidance.
Both Dan and Anthony were welcomed into their respective positions by the Local Controller Brendan Casement and the Area Controller Jason Pascoe.
