When you work in disability support, recognition like this means something different.

It's not just about business.

It's about the 180 people who show up every day because they genuinely care.

It's about the 67 participants who trust us with their goals, their homes and some of the most important moments of their lives.

It's about the families who place their confidence in us.

And it's about a community - in Logan and across South East Queensland - that has supported Magnus since we opened our doors in Beenleigh in 2019.

This finalist recognition belongs to every single one of them.

But what does it actually mean?

It means the person we support decides what a good day looks like - not us.

It means goals that belong to the participant, not the plan.

It means being part of your community on your own terms.

It means cooking what you want, going where you want, spending time with who you want.

It means a selfie with someone who genuinely cares.

It means dignity. Respect. Real choice.

𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐮𝐬 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 Logan Chamber of Commerce 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 and we couldn't be prouder.

We were incredibly thrilled to celebrate our finalist recognition on 5 August, and this achievement has given us an opportunity to reflect on just how far Magnus Health has come.

Founded in Beenleigh in 2019, today Magnus is a team of approximately 180 incredible people, supporting 67 participants across 19 Supported Independent Living homes and communities throughout South East Queensland.

But those numbers aren't what make us most proud.

𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦.

Trying something for the first time. Learning a new skill. Building confidence and independence. Making connections. Celebrating milestones. And sometimes doing something you may never have believed was possible.

It's our participants, our incredible team, our families, partners, supporters and the communities that have helped shape Magnus Health into what it is today.

It's also about giving back. Through the Magnus Ball and other charitable activities, Magnus has now raised over $455,000 for community causes - bringing businesses and communities together to make a difference.

We are incredibly proud to be a Logan-based business and even prouder that the work of our people has been recognised through the 2026 Logan Business Awards.

Whatever happens from here, becoming a finalist is something worth celebrating.

There's a lot of noise about the NDIS right now. Let's cut through it.

The NDIS is changing. That's real. And for a lot of participants and families, the uncertainty is exhausting.

So here's what we want you to hear from us - clearly, honestly and without the jargon.

👉 Your rights haven't changed.
👉 You don't have to figure this out alone.
👉 Good documentation protects you.
👉 Quality still matters.
👉 Magnus Health isn't going anywhere.

We made the Gold Coast Bulletin 🗞️
