STRONGER TOGETHER
Family Violence, Safety and Support in Our Community

Join us for a practical and supportive community conversation about family violence prevention, respectful relationships, safe reporting pathways and where to go for support.

This session will help community members better understand what family violence can look like, including coercive control, how to recognise warning signs, what support options are available, and how we can safely support a friend, neighbour, family member or community member.

Facilitated with local partners and support services, this is not about blame or shame. It is about safety, awareness, prevention and connection.

📅 Monday 29 June
⏰ 5:15pm – 7:30pm
📍 Quercus Oregon Hall, 26 Ford Street, Beechworth

Hosted by Quercus Beechworth as part of the Stronger Together – Building a Safer, Healthier Beechworth series, supported by the Indigo Shire Council Community Grants Program.

Please RSVP by Friday 26 June via the QR code.

If you or someone you know is experiencing family violence, call 1800RESPECT on 1800 737 732.
If someone is in immediate danger, call 000.

Thank you so much for your generous donations so far!

The Beechworth Old Cranks Motor Club will be holding a book sale as part of the Drive Back in Time event and are on the lookout for automotive books to stock their stall. We now have plenty of automotive magazines, thank you! Now we're on the hunt for some more books.

If you’ve got motoring books you’re ready to pass on, we’d love your donations. Please drop them into the Quercus Bookshop and we’ll set them aside for the event.
