What to expect ✨
Lecker life drawing is a judgement free and accessible space. The sessions are lightly guided with a range of drawing activities to encourage everyone to scribble to their heart's content and have a laugh. The longest pose will take 10 minutes. These sessions are designed to help you feel a little more creative than when you arrived. Formal drawing tuition is not provided.

What's provided ✨
* Basic art materials including paper, charcoal, pastels, pencils, pens and textas. And a model to draw!

* Complimentary drink and serving of cake

From the artist: In Beechworth I’m going to project a huge night time image of GOING HOME video directly onto the façade of the 3-storey administrative building of the old mental asylum in Beechworth. Beechworth is close to the NSW border. New title: BORDERLINE [The Going Home performance]. A projection wounded in my mind by FAÇADE.

Artist statement:
GOING HOME.

The universal is a lie. There is only the truth of our actions in time & place.

Antisemitism in any form is totally abhorrent to me.

The Israelis have been mauling the Palestinians for the last 75 years.

Unjust, immoral to threaten anyone who questions the actions of the Israeli state with antisemitism.

Israel was founded on the forced displacement of the Palestinian people.

“You cannot dream the unconscious away” – Jacqueline Rose.

What is clear is a decoy.
