Got kids doing VACSWIM this year? It’s the perfect excuse to get creative in the sand between swims.

All you need to do:
• Create a sand masterpiece on a Beachport beach
• Snap a photo (bonus points if the artist is in the shot 😉)
• Support a local business and keep the receipt
• Upload your photo and receipt to enter

2024/25 BLOCK DATES ARE HERE!

Block 1: 16th to 20th of December 2024
Block 2: 6th to 10th of January 2025
Block 3: 13th to 17th of January 2025
Block 4: 20th to 24th of January 2025

This announcement has been made possible as Surf Life Saving SA has officially been appointed the sole provider of the VACSWIM program for the next FIVE YEARS making sure that we are able to run the program until 2028/2029 🤯👏

Thank you to SA Recreation and Sport for ensuring this vital program continues and entrusting SLSSA to continue our work!

And that’s a wrap for 2024! THANK YOU to the amazing group of instructors, assistants and volunteers that were involved in the program this year.
On a side note, after more than 30 years involved with Vacswim programs and 27 of those as IC at Beachport, I’ve decided it’s time to step down. If you know of someone who might be keen to step into the role next year, I’m happy to chat anytime.

Bright and early set up for the last day of Vacswim. Parents are reminded to allow extra time to get to lessons today. There will be limited car parking available and the main street will be blocked due to the Market Day! See you soon!
