🍞 BREAD FOR OUR COMMUNITY! 🥖

Another Thursday, another wonderful bread delivery for the 6053 Pantry! ❤️

A big thank you to Bakers Delight Dianella for their ongoing generosity and for helping us keep our shelves stocked with fresh bread for local families.

And a special shout-out to Dean and Fiona, our Thursday volunteers, who collected the donation, sorted everything and made sure it was ready for our community. 🙌

Unfortunately, tonight’s Bayswater Twilight Market has been cancelled due to the expected bad weather conditions.

This is a decision not taken lightly by our management committee.

The forecast is looking very unfavourable, There are also concerns about the impact of trucks and vehicles on Bert Wright Park if the ground becomes saturated and wet.

After much deliberation and liaison with the Bureau of Meteorology we have agreed that safety needs to come first, for our stallholders, visitors, volunteers and everyone who supports the markets,

We had to make this decision yesterday , so stall holders avoid preparing food that cant be sold.

We know this is disappointing, but given the conditions forecast, we believe cancelling now is the responsible decision.

Thank you to everyone who has put time and effort into preparing for the market. We really appreciate your support and understanding. 🤍

🤍 BIG BREAD DROP AT THE 6053 PANTRY! 🍞🥖

It’s Sunday and our shelves are stocked with a fantastic supply of fresh bread, thanks to another generous donation from Bakers Delight Dianella.

A huge thank you to Nicole and her family, our wonderful Sunday volunteers, for helping collect, sort and get everything ready for our community. ❤️
