🤍 Bread Available Today (Thursday ) at the 6053 Pantry 🍞

A huge thank you to the team at Bakers Delight Dianella for once again donating a generous supply of fresh bread. Our shelves are stocked and ready to support anyone in our community who may need a helping hand.

To make sure there’s enough for everyone, we kindly ask that households take a maximum of four bread items per visit.

If you don’t currently need pantry support, please consider leaving the bread for those who do. 🤍

🕊️ VALE PETER BUCHANAN 🤍

Yesterday we farewelled and celebrated the life of a much loved member of the Future Bayswater family, Peter Buchanan.

A long time Bayswater local, wonderful neighbour, dedicated teacher at Chisholm Catholic College and a friend to so many, Peter gave generously of his time to our community. He was a valued volunteer at our events, the Bayswater Twilight Markets and the 6053 Pantry, alongside his wife, Simone.

Peter and Simone regularly did the weekly bread pickups and helped bag the bread and stock the pantry to support people in our community who needed a helping hand.

Peter was known for his kindness, compassion, care and wonderful sense of humour. He was someone who quietly made a difference, always thinking of others before himself.

Peter was the kind of man you hope every boy can grow up to be like — a man of genuine character, integrity and kindness.

He will be deeply missed, but his warmth, generosity and spirit will remain forever in the hearts of the FuBa family and the wider community.

Our deepest sympathies and love go to Simone, James, Taao and all of Peter’s family and friends at this very difficult time.

Vale Peter. Thank you for everything you gave to our community. You will never be forgotten. 🤍

We’re incredibly proud to share that Bayswater Junior Football Club is officially 1 of only 3 finalists in all of WA for the Alinta Gas “Win $20k for Your Local Club” Competition — an unbelievable achievement for our community.

Now it’s over to the public vote, and this is where WE NEED YOU! This is where our Baysie spirit matters most💪.

The winning club will receive $20,000 for vital facility upgrades and new equipment, plus four tickets to a Round 23 (or Round 24) AFL match and the chance to feature in a live Channel 7 broadcast.

This is huge for our kids, our volunteers, and our future — and we need every single vote.

A big thank you to the amazing team at Bakers Delight Dianella for another generous donation of fresh bread. The shelves are well stocked today for anyone in our community who could use a little extra support.

To help the bread go further, please limit your visit to four bread items per household so more families can benefit.
If you’re not needing pantry assistance today, we’d be grateful if you could leave the bread for those who are.
