Hello again! These are some pictures of a few of the children last month at the school.
Following on with our story, Covid hit us hard and the years following were very difficult as it was for all of us It was particularly hard in Kenya, and of course for our children at the school. Somehow we all got through it and so did our kids but there have been some scars. The school has lost many sponsors and with that our ability to help the children as we intended Now we are hoping the time is right to build it back to its former glory. We are at a crunch point, where we have see more funds through sponsorship or we have to face the grim possibility that the Project may fold. Hello supporters of Project Hope! We wanted to go back to the start of the story and let you know whats happening now. Below is a beautiful picture of Carla and some of the children in happier times. The year is 2017.
As you all know Covid 19 hit the world and it hit Project Hope too. On top of that Carla has had major health problem that has forced her to take a step back from her beloved children in Makindu. Right here , right now we would like to acknowledge the wonderful efforts that Carla made getting the project going and helping these children in Makindu. There was no help in this place before that. Stay tuned for what comes next.
