Recently, Glenray attended the Charles Sturt University Scholarship Ceremony in Orange to present the 2026 Glenray Commitment Scholarship to first-year Physiotherapy student, Alex Vardanega.

Glenray is proud to support students in our communities by helping reduce financial barriers to tertiary education, particularly for those living with disability. Alex is the fifth recipient of the Glenray Commitment Scholarship.

Throwback to last months Royal Bathurst Show! 🎡

Our participants had a fantastic weekend taking advantage of all the show had on offer; from performing on stage, and petting zoo cuddles to facing their fears on the rides. We're already looking forward to next year!

Congratulations to Greg Moss on his retirement! 🎉

After an incredible 42 years with Glenray, Greg completed his final shift last week. We marked the occasion with a special celebration, recognising his enormous contribution to both the Glenray Laundry and Glenray Industrial Services.

Greg will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of working alongside him. We wish him all the very best for a well-earned retirement.

Glenray Lifestyle & Learning Centre recently took part in Bathurst Council’s Waste 2 Art competition, the theme this year was “Shrink Your Footprint”.

Over several weeks, the group collected recyclable materials and turned them into a creative shoebox artwork. Their piece celebrates the Glenray Choir, with each participant represented and even features a music sheet with the AUSLAN signs that they use in their performances. All that effort has definitely paid off, with the team taking out the Community Category award!

If you’d like to see the artwork in person, the Waste2Art exhibition is open for one more day. You can visit BMEC on Wednesday from 10am to 3pm and cast your vote for the People’s Choice award.

We are looking for a full-time People & Culture Training Officer to join our team in Bathurst. In this role, you’ll play a key part in welcoming and supporting new team members through inductions and training, ensuring they feel confident and set up for success from day one.

Key responsibilities include:

Today we held our Supported Employee of the Month celebrations at the Glenray Laundry.

Congratulations to our monthly winners Adam, Nick and Kyle along with everyone who was nominated. Your hard work and positive contribution to your work can not be ignored.

We were also honoured to recognise four amazing long service milestones: Paige (5 years), Warwick (10 years), Graham (35 years) and Dorothy (40 years). Thank you for your amazing dedication to Glenray.
