Bathurst Bushrangers AFL Club The Bathurst Bushrangers – formed in 2004 through the merging of Bathurst Eagles & CSU, proudly competing in the AFL Central West.

Offering Auskick, Junior teams, and Senior teams for all ages and skill levels. We compete in Senior Men's, Ladies, U/17's, Youth Girls, U/14's, U/12's and Auskick. We promote team spirit and loyalty, we have committed and hardworking committee members and coaching staff and provide family friendly club facilities for all our members to enjoy. 💙Round 6 Coaches Reports 💙

Tier 1 Men

Game of the season with the Bushies coming away with a thrilling three-point win. An extremely tight contest the whole way through, the match was opened up midway through the fourth quarter when our pressure allowed us to establish a 20-plus point lead for the first time in the game. However, Dubbo fought back hard. We dug deep to hold them out in the final four minutes of what proved to be an instant classic.

Women

After a slow start where we conceded two quick goals, the girls rallied and went into half-time leading by six points. With only minutes to go in the third quarter, we held a narrow one-point lead, but Dubbo kicked a late goal to go into the final break five points ahead. Another goal to Dubbo early in the last quarter put us behind by 11 points, but the girls never gave up. We were in attack for most of the final quarter, but unfortunately could only manage two behinds. Poor kicking cost us once again, with five shots on goal hitting the posts.

Tier 2 Men

Ressies played a tough and competitive game against Dubbo, unfortunately coming up a little short. Dubbo started strongly in the first quarter and were able to establish an early lead. Despite the boys' best efforts, they were unable to reel them back in for the remainder of the match.

🚨Round 6 Team Announcements

The Bushies are on the road again this weekend, heading to Dubbo to take on the Demons.

The Bushies have continued to build momentum since Round 1 and are eager to bring home strong results across all grades. With confidence growing and plenty of hard work paying off, the team is ready for another tough challenge.

Due to the Demons hosting their Fun Day game times are:

Tier 2 - 11:00am
Senior Women - 1:30pm
Tier 1 - 3:15pm

Good luck to all players, coaches and support staff travelling to Dubbo! 💙🖤🏉
