We had a sad day today with the passing of Ozzie. Ozzie came to us from a country pound about 3 years ago and due to his strong dislike of dogs, cats and just about everybody else, he wasn't able to be adopted.
He did love his food and me and was actually a sweet natured soul who also loved to explore and get cuddles.
He was such a funny character.
Sometimes when I would pat him, he would give me a gentle lick on the hand and then a soft growl to tell me he'd had enough and he had this peculiar habit of grabbing a hold of my leg with both paws and hanging on like a koala!
We estimated his age at about 17 years. His poor old back legs just gave out and this morning he was in severe pain so we had to take him to the vet and give him peace.
Rest in Peace Ozzie, I'll miss you buddy.
