This week at our meeting, we welcomed Joel from SOS Phone Repairs Bathurst as guest speaker. He shared a helpful summary of scams appearing in emails and on phones, how to deal with them, and helped members with phone issues and queries. I’m off to see Joel for a new screen protector fitted — I hate applying those things!

Finding Community Through a Simple Message
Four years ago, I moved to Bathurst as a newly retired person, wanting to add value to the community and find like-minded women passionate about supporting each other.
I discovered Bathurst Quota on Facebook. I knew no one, but I took a chance and sent a message via their page. A lovely lady named Suemaree responded.
I was nervous walking into my first meeting, but I shouldn't have been. Suemaree was waiting for me and made sure I felt welcome and included from day one.
Through life's twists and turns, they've been there for me—providing support, sending messages, making sure I never felt forgotten.
I even enjoy working the Bunnings BBQ and making slices now—who am I?! 😊
If you're looking for connection and community in Bathurst, don't hesitate to reach out. That one Facebook message changed everything for me

Well, that’s a wrap! 🎉 Quota Bathurst Trivia Night 2026 was another fantastic evening filled with fun, laughter, and a healthy dose of competition. While my table didn’t come close to the winners, my family and everyone there had a great time testing our trivia skills and enjoying the friendly atmosphere.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported the night — together we raised funds for a wonderful local cause, the Bathurst Community Bus. 🚍💛
