Magic happens at the shed. Last Monday Garry a local magician performed a show in thanks for work we performed for him. First picture shows him tearing a card and burning the edges then as he hands it back to a shed member the card was whole and not burnt???? Second picture was a shed member holding a card with a picture of a closed lock and in Garry's hand he made a key roll over in his hand and when the card was turned over the picture showed an unlocked lock picture????? The members of the shed wish to thank Garry for his time. "Wheres my watch GARRRRRRRY"

Many thanks to Australian Men's Shed Association (AMSA) who have just approved a grant to allow us to insulate our shed. It will help to keep us warmer in winter and cooler in summer. Many thanks for Luke's fast work.

What a great visit to Borenore / Nashdale Mens Shed today a much larger facility then ours. A very interesting duct system for removal of machine waste with the vent to the extractor opening and the extractor turning on when the machine is turned on and then the reverse when turned off. Thank you to all your members for a very enjoyable visit and tour of your shed. I was personally impressed with the fine and integrate workmanship of many pieces of work. Lunch was a bonus, a pat on the back to the cook. But what was truly awesome was the gift presented to us form you shed members. A picture framing jig.

A request for a spinning yarn holder was received. This is the end result. (Its not tilted its just the video). The young lady that requested this just picked it up and was thrilled with it. Thank you Naomi for asking us to make something different.

Our project with Simplot came to an end last Thursday 30th April 2026 when we attended the 100th anniversary of Edgells in Bathurst. The asparagus cart was on display during the ceremony. The owners of Simplot and relatives of Mr Edgells were very happy with our efforts.

Our time at Simplot is coming to an end as the project is almost complete.
