Our busy day as the Board papers are sent to our directors.

Our Board of seven directors meet every two months and our sub committees meet at least four times a year.

Our Directors cover our expanded area and bring great skills and wisdom to the table.

We are also preparing for the Eurobodalla Business Awards Dinner to be held at the Bay Pavilions tomorrow night. Fingers crossed, but what a great field of finalists for the Community Awards we are amongst. 👏

Group Social Support is called "Out and About" in Batemans Bay and "Groups" in Ulladulla. These are amazing days of social interaction, laughter, smiles and fun away from home.
Our wonderful teams do great work and our volunteers are magnificent.
Why not join in?
Meet new friends and get out of the house... and trip all over our surrounding areas.

Next week we offer our second First Aid Course to volunteers. We are pleased to have South Coast First Aid offering a course in Ulladulla.
Everyone who attends congratulates the tutors on the wonderful way they present the facts and information.
A day of smiles, laughter and learning.

Did you know that we are "More than a Meal?"
Our Individual Social Support volunteers assist clients throughout the week with shopping assistance, attending appointments, going for a walk or something as simple as gardening or having a cuppa and a chat.
If you have a kind heart, a spare hour and a smile, you could also assist others.

Packing day.... We start to pack our frozen meals for the delivery runs happening this week.
From the Batemans Bay office:

Tuesday we will deliver to Moruya, South Heads Moruya, Mogo and Broulee.
Wednesday we deliver to the Batemans Bay area.
Friday we deliver to Tuross, Dalmeny and Narooma area.

From the Ulladulla office:

a similar system is happening.
Monday delivery is the Ulladulla area.
Tuesday dervery is to Mollymookand Narrawallee area.
Thursday is to Milton, Lake Conjola, Fishermans Paradise, Bendalong and Curarjong Point areas.

From the Sussex Inlet office:

Friday delivery all areas from Wandandian in the north to Berrara in the south.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall at the Volunteers Expo yesterday at Bunnings Batemans Bay! It was wonderful to meet so many people who showed an interest in what we do and in becoming part of our team.

The day was made even more special by the fantastic atmosphere and the opportunity to connect with so many amazing community groups, all working to make a difference in our local area.

Congratulations to all involved in the work of Eurobodalla Meals on Wheels, for we are a finalist at the Eurobodall Business Awards- Community Organisations section.
This is a testimony to the caring support our volunteers, staff, suppliers and Board, give to the older members of our community.

What a fantastic time we all had a Tilba Winery today. The Winery is set amongst the bush just before the township Tilba and over looks part of Corunna lake. The weather was perfect and the food was amazing. The chef is well known for his homemade pies, savoury and sweet. Scallop and prawns pie sounds very fancy and the apple pies looked delicious. It was such a lovely day out catching up with friends in the group, chatting and enjoying a lovely lunch together.
