We are grateful for the incredible support from our community for Caring Corner. Every small act of kindness makes a significant difference in the lives of those who need it most.
We currently have sufficient supplies of sheets, towels, doona, blankets, and warm clothing 🙏
We are only accepting food items, pasta, pasta sauce, pasta bake sauce, tuna, long-life milk, noodles, coffee at this time.
Please kindly check with us before donating due to limited space. Thank you. We are located at the corner inside JJJ Oriental Supermarket Batemans Bay .

We are grateful for the incredible support from our community for Caring Corner. Every small act of kindness makes a significant difference in the lives of those who need it most. We are searching for a second hand e-bike for someone to help the person get to work and home at night. We don't expect to get it for free but hope for something more affordable than a brand new.

Aggressive behavior towards any staff members will not be tolerated, and regretfully, it happened today on Good Friday. We don't provide space at our time and cost to expose staff members to be abused and we have no hesitation in turning away or banning anyone with aggressive behavior.

Genuine homeless people are dignified and grateful for any support, and we know most of them in the Batemans Bay area. We appreciate that times are tough, but we can't allow anyone to walk in to fill their bag with gifts from the community. It's our job to ensure donations go to people in need.

Please only take what you need and not what you can.

To our homeless friends or people who have no cooking facilities, many places will be closed, but Caring Corner will have cooked meals available on Good Friday. No one should be without access to food on such a sacred day.

Easter Hours 🐰
Good Friday - 10 am to 4 pm
Saturday - 10 am to 4 pm
Easter Sunday - 10 am to 3 pm
Easter Monday - 10 am to 3 pm

Our respect and gratitude to all police, paramedics, doctors, nurses, and all other first responders, frontline workers, and everyone who is working on Good Friday to keep the town's systems running 🙏
