Getting traction ....
AND THE GOOD NEWS IS that will continue to oppose the DA for the North Manyana/Inyadda Dr proposal on the following grounds:
1. The community plan which purports to protect biodiversity is insufficient.
2. The DA has not properly assessed ecological impacts, including in relation to the lagoon running into Inyadda beach and the Conjola National Park.
3. The DA has failed to quantify the required number of biodiversity credits needed.
4. The DA has an unacceptable impact on biodiversity values.
5. There is insufficient management and treatment of stormwater.
6. Proposed earthworks and retaining walls will have a significant impact on the environment, neighbouring properties, safety and water flow.
7. There is insufficient road access, vehicular safety and intersections.
8. Inadequate bushfire protection.
9. The development is not in the public interest.
We thank the many, many community members who made submissions to Council. It's down to you that at least 6 of the reasons relate to protection of biodiversity, and that Council has agreed that the development is not in the public interest.

MORE INFORMATION FROM RHVA:
*The matter will be heard in Court on 18 to 22 August. The Court case will commence on site at the North Manyana (Inyadda Beach south end) carpark on 18 August at 9.30am.
*The community will be permitted to have six speakers. The RHVA proposes to liaise with the community and Council about that matter.
*It is very important that all persons with an interest in the matter attend the hearing on 18 August 2025.
