2026 Community Housing Cadetship Program

🌟 Interested in a new job AND getting paid to study? 🌟

The 2026 Community Housing Cadetship Program is now open!

This program is a great opportunity for people who want stable work, hands-on experience, and a nationally recognised qualification.

✨ What you get:
• A 12-month paid job with a community housing organisation
• Free training (during work hours)
• A Certificate IV in Housing
• Support from trainers and mentors
• Real experience helping people find and keep safe housing

✨ Who can apply:
You must live in NSW and be one or more of the following:
• A young person aged 20–24
• A social housing tenant, on the waitlist, receiving private rental help, or living in crisis/supported accommodation
• Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
• Living with disability
• Refugee or migrant background

✨ Key dates:
• Applications close Thursday 4 December 2025
• Phone interviews by 5 December
• Face-to-face interviews from 10 Dec – 30 Jan
• Cadets start work 16 February 2026
• Training in Sydney 2–6 March 2026 (all travel costs covered)
