Thank you seems like not enough… but thank you to the one grader, one tractor, 4 private firefighting units, 6 volunteer fire fighting units, 2 Bushfire NT units, 9 neighbours, 6 volunteer firefighters, and 2 Bushfires staff who gave up over 10 hours today to contain an uncontrolled fire.
Please spare a thought for all the people who give up their time, vehicles and machines to assist others.
And please, before burning please consider where your fire will stop….or not stop.

“The Bart Brigade attended the funeral service for an early member of our brigade, John (JB) Bligh, held Tuesday, May 12th.

We were honored to have six of our members serve as pallbearers. John’s wife Sue, expressed how much the brigade's presence meant to the family.

Our brigade's commitment to the local community goes beyond active firefighting. Whether we are providing operational support during emergencies or standing by our members and their families in times of personal loss, we take great pride in these vital supporting roles that strengthen our local ties.”
