Barham Local Health Medical Trust In Barham/Koondrook, we are fortunate to have the Barham Health Hub – home to our local GP clinic, dental clinic, blood collection centre and podiatrist.

Our volunteer-run charity advocates for improved health services for the Barham and Koondrook area, and fundraises to ensure the ongoing maintenance of our community-owned medical building. The hub is the result of many years of community input and fundraising, co-ordinated by the volunteer-run Barham Local Health Medical Trust. The trust was formed in 2007, when there were no doctors in Barham. T

he community fundraised, received grants and borrowed money to purchase the original doctor’s premises in the Barham Plaza. In 2009, the trust rented the building to Ochre Health, who has been providing GP services to our community ever since. Pathology and podiatry services commenced soon after the centre opened. And in 2020, the trust partnered with Local Dental to bring dental services to town, the first dental services to be offered in town for more than 20 years. The trust’s board is made up of nine members - all local people who volunteer their time to maintain the building and to advocate for improved local health services. A representative from both Murray Haven and the Barham MPS also sit on the board and support the work of the trust.

Quantum Medical Centre Barham

Quantum Medical Centre along with Clinical Labs Pathology would like to announce the temporary relocation of local pathology collection services to within the medical centre.

Pathology Collection times will be as follows

8:30am - 12 noon
Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday


Local Health Medical Trust is working hard behind the scenes to get essential repair work done to the pathology rooms and we hope to have the services back in the normal rooms very soon.

In the meantime time we thank Quantum Medical Centre for their assistance in hosting Clinical Labs within the practice while we undertake these works.

Our pathology collection rooms are having some essential repair works. We apologise for the inconvenience this is causing our community.

In the interim Clinical Labs will be operating from Quantum Medical Centre Barham starting very soon!!

We will advise as soon as we know more and keep you updated on the repairs to the building.
