We were thrilled to hear from ACN Volunteer and Carer, Sherry, at this year’s Annual Charity Gala.

Sherry spoke of the support and sense of community she has found at our Carers Support Groups and how her son, has been welcomed into the Autistic Adults Social Clubs, into a space where he can just be himself - no judgement, no pressure, just acceptance.

As a Volunteer, Sherry, like many other Australians, gives up her time to care for the Autistic loved ones in her life. We recognise and salute the incredible contribution she, and other Volunteers and Carers make to the lives of others, not just this week but every week. Their time, and sacrifice for the wellbeing of others is something that truly warms the heart.

If you would like to make a positive and lasting change as a volunteer with ACN, we would love to hear from you.

💬 Q: How did the name Understanding Zoe come to be?

Aligning with CEO & Founder, Laetitia Andrac’s personal interest in Ancient Greek and mythology, Zoe, meaning ‘life’ in Greek turned out to be the perfect fit for the development of .zoe.

Understanding Zoe was designed to make the lives of autistic and neurodivergent individuals, and those involved in their lives, easier and more accessible for all parties. Where personal interest met a greater passion for the industry, Understanding Zoe was born.

We are proud to partner with Understanding Zoe, and today we want to share something that matters to our community. They have just launched a completely rebuilt app. Pip, their AI coach, is now a second brain. It has a real conversation with you, then acts: logging observations, setting reminders, tracking goals and milestones, capturing strategies, all by typing or voice.

Visit the link in our bio or directly at https://understandingzoe.onelink.me/RoVT/acn for more information 💜 Chris Minns Kellie Sloane MP - NSW Liberal Leader Kate Washington MP Jenny McAllister Liesl Tesch MP The Hon Natasha Maclaren-Jones MLC Melissa McIntosh MP Henry Pike MP Sarah Mitchell MLC

Club Rivers has been holding their Biggest Morning Tea for over 15 years, raising much needed funds to support cancer research.

As always, the room was full, the food delicious and community spirit came together for a cause which has touched so many.

Congratulations to Paul, Jenny and all the Club Rivers team for the amazing work you all do in supporting the community.
