Dear Families, Friends and Colleagues,

We hope that you are faring as well as possible in the face of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) health crisis. BCRG would like to assure you that we are working in line with updated advice from the NSW Department of Education and the NSW Ministry of Health to ensure the health and well-being of everyone.

As the virus continues to spread, it is necessary that we each do our part to manage the risks and help slow the spread down and keep everyone as safe from infection as possible.

BCRG will continue to develop and implement innovative ways to connect with and support the children, families and community we work with. This may include telephone contact, video calls and social media.

Group activities such as the Deadly Beginnings, Deadly Futures programs, Playgroups and Child and Family Hub activities will be suspended until further notice.

The BCRG Preschool continues to remain open until further notice. BCRG office staff are transitioning to a work from home model and all face-to-face meetings will occur online or over the phone.

Our need to stay connected as individuals, families and a community has never been more important. If you need support please contact us on 02) 9796 2931.

Coming up is BCRG's Bi Annual Parents and Kids Expo! It is an expo that celebrates National Children's Week and is targeted towards families/carers of kids between the ages of 0-6.

There will be an Indigenous Dance Workshop, Bollywood Dance Workshop, Obstacle Course, Magic Show, Lots of Children's Activities and Balloon Sculpting

It will be coming up next Monday from 10:30am to 12:30pm.

It has been so much fun at the BCRG Chester Hill Preschool this term...
Learning about the season of Spring, we even planted some sunflower seeds and are waiting for them to grow.
We have been exploring maths concepts such as measuring length and heights, and science concepts such as colour mixing.
As well as learning some letters of the alphabet and the sounds they make we have been practicing to identify and write our names.
We created our own preschool hospital and pretended to be doctors with different dress ups.
We have visited the library each month and listened to a story and did a craft activity.
We also had our Book Week Parade this week.
We are all looking forward to an exciting Term 4 !
