Today we went exploring Mandurah.
Scout led activity where the caught the train and bus to the Foreshore, and explored both sides to the inlet. They found a playground to explore and enjoy.
Then back up to the main area where we had a lovely lunch at Sharky’s (well worth a visit) Then back out to explore the market and an ice cream before catching the bus back to the train station. Thanks all who came, senior scouts for your leadership and thanks for the laughs 😊

WORLD SCOUT DAY
On World Scout Day, Atwell Scouts were out and about on the Bibbulmun Track from Sullivan Rock over Mount Vincent, Mount Cuthbert and spending the night at Manadnocks Campsite. We had amazing weather, met amazing people along the way, and enjoyed views everyone should get to see ❤️
Scouts of different ages and abilities managed to complete the hike in and get camp set before dark then a well deserved dinner. With spirits high and energy low they took no time in going to sleep, some chose the hut and some in tents. Then up early, have breakfast and pack up and despite leaving a litter later than planned we arrived back over an hour early 😳🥰.
Scouts some of you found your limits but pushed on, am so proud to see you be challenged but not give in 👍💪💪👍. See you all tomorrow night at the hall and we can do our review and start to plan our next adventure ❤️.

Happy World Scout Day! 🌏⚜️

Today, Scouts across Western Australia join millions worldwide in celebrating the founding of the Scout Movement, which has inspired young people to lead, serve and make a positive difference for more than a century.

As we celebrate, we also extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated Leaders and adult volunteers whose passion, encouragement and commitment help make these opportunities possible for so many young people.

Week 2
Tonight we did Pioneering.
Task- design and make a device that would transport a Scout from one side of the Carpark to the other without the scout touching the ground or other scouts touching the structure. Team work, leadership, but more important fun. Success? Lots of lessons learned and fun had. Thanks all.
