The 125th Anniversary Gala Dinner Dance is on Saturday 1 August at the A&I Hall, Bangalow. Think country formal - dust off the good boots, iron the ballgown (or shop locally for a new frock!), and come celebrate 125 years of the Bangalow Show in style.

Canapés, plated dinner, live music from Sonic FX and a whole lot of Bangalow magic. Tables of 8 (you can buy 1, 3 or any number, just a maximum of 8 per table). Limited to 180 tickets - and they're selling fast!

All over the Northern Rivers, there are shoeboxes, photo albums and camera rolls full of Show memories.

125 years of Bangalow Show memories; Prize-winning cattle, show girls, blue ribbons, familiar faces and showgrounds that haven't changed as much as you'd think.

We're pulling together a collection of archival images to celebrate 125 years of the Bangalow Show, and we'd love yours to be part of it.

Mark your calendar! 125 years. Two days. One show you don't want to miss.

This year, the Bangalow Show dates are Friday 13 and Saturday 14 November 2026, and this year we're celebrating 125 years of one of the Northern Rivers' most loved community traditions.
Two full days of ring events, pavilion entries, novelty events, local legends and everything that makes the Bangalow Show what it is. Stay tuned for next week's announcement of the feature entertainment!!!

Entry on the gate:
Adults $15 | Pensioners & High School $7 | Children 12 and under FREE

Want both days for less? A Show membership is $20 for adults and $10 for High School students, seniors and pensioners. Memberships must be paid by 8 November.

🎸 The band behind the Bangalow Show’s biggest night in 125 years!

Sonic FX, The Band are bringing the golden era of rock to the 125th Anniversary Gala Dinner Dance on 1 August. Five seriously talented Northern Rivers musicians playing such great music that whether you’re on the dance floor, grooving in your seat, or raising a glass and soaking it all in - Sonic FX delivers the soundtrack to a night you won’t forget. 🥂

On stage:
Gavin Beardsmore (bass/founder):

The groove behind it all. Gavin founded Sonic FX and has been making audiences move since the glam rock era of the 1970s. 🎸

Katrina Harris (vocals/keys):

A true vocal powerhouse. Katrina is the kind of performer you can’t take your eyes off. 🎤

Peter Brown (guitar):

Decades of Northern Rivers music runs through Pete’s fingertips. Expressive, soulful and always in the pocket. 🎸

Kim Beardsmore (keyboards):

Kim brings the unmistakable sounds of the 70s and 80s to life. Self-taught, honours graduate, and genuinely brilliant. 🎹

Dan Crandon (drums):

Local legend and heartbeat of every band he plays with. Dan is the reason the room moves. 🥁
