This Earth Day is all about getting involved and doing your bit. The 2026 theme, Our Power, Our Planet, is a reminder that together we can make a real difference.

At Scouts Victoria, one simple way we’re making a difference is through the Container Deposit Scheme (CDS). Every container returned helps reduce waste, protect our environment, and keep our communities clean, all while raising funds for local Scout Groups.

Small actions add up. Collect, return, recycle and be part of something bigger.

Together, we have the power to create a greener future.

Check out this snippet of One Camp - Discover 2026. Held every 3 years, One Camp is the biggest scout camp in WA, with over 2000 Joeys, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Rovers attending.

1st Balnarring Scout, George, was lucky enough to attend and try some amazing activities including snorkeling at Yanchep Lagoon, mountain biking in Jarradale State Forrest and robotics at Curtin University.

Come down to the Womindjeka Festival today 10am-4pm at Emu Plains Reserve.

Good music, lots of kids activities and yummy food and drinks, particularly our sausages and cheese toasties!
