Despite the the many changes and challenges faces by local historical societies, including the enormous advances in modern technology, especially communications and the internet, the CHHA remains a vital link in the local history network. CHHA continues to be an active and innovative organisation with a main focus to assist its member societies by developing and maintaining resources and informati

on networks. CHHA is represented at Municipal, State and Federal Governments levels on matters of joint concern.
