The holiday season can be busy and overwhelming, and we understand it’s not the same for everyone.

Alara Support has availability to offer assistance over the Christmas and New Year period in Ballarat. Our support workers, Dylan and Tayla, will be available to assist with:

💚 Daily tasks and personal support
💚 Community access and outings
💚 Last minute or after-hour support
💚 Cleaning and gardening to help prepare your home for the season

Hii!! Alara Support has availability for new clients! We're a new Indigenous-owned NDIS support service provider in Ballarat Victoria who prioritises providing consistent carers to build authentic relationships and personalised care by tailoring activities to client interests ✨

We offer:
- Daily living assistance
- Community participation through social, recreational and educational activities
- Group support through art, skill-building and social workshops + events
- Respite care for persons needing a break from providing primary care

Curious about what’s been happening at Alara Support? We’ve been busy with some great projects lately at Ballarat Tech School thanks to The LAB. Check out our 3D printed Axolotl model— creativity has been on full display! 🦎

We’ve also been having a blast with VR gaming sessions, and it’s been fantastic to see the kids give something new a go. On top of that, we’ve been working on coding, game development, laser cutting, and more. It’s been amazing to watch new skills develop and ideas come to life inside these growing sponges. 🧠

Hii!! Alara is hosting a "quiet space" (quiet room/sensory room) at this years Animaga on both days of the event! The space will contain chairs, beanbags, tables and a support worker. All persons experiencing sensory issues or needing a moment of quiet respite can attend the space, however, it does have a limited capacity.

You can find the space in the upstairs area of Animaga between the Volunteer area and Maid Cafe rest area!! ☺️

Hii!! We're attending this years Autism Fest hosted by Ballarat Autism Network on Sunday the 25th of August 10am-3pm. There will be plenty of fun activities to do like face painting, a petting zoo, arts and crafts, a lego corner and so much more!! 🥳
